Raymond James

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Raymond is a native Floridian who now calls Birmingham home. Prior to joining the Fortif family, Raymond received a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida, and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. While attending Stetson Law, Raymond developed a love for helping his community and helping others to do the same. He served two years as the Chair of Stetson Law’s Pro-Bono Committee and spent three years working as a Guardian Ad Litem serving and mentoring children in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Early in his legal career, Raymond developed invaluable experience in intellectual property, which benefits many of Fortif’s practice areas. He works to help businesses and community developers grow and flourish. He brings to his practice an eagerness to learn and a passion for his work. As a result, clients get the outcome they desire.

“There is no better feeling than giving a client peace of mind in a difficult moment. I take pride in helping our clients reach the outcome they desire, and I work hard to make legal issues the least stressful part of their day. There is meaning in all the work we do here at Fortif and that makes my practice worthwhile. We truly want to make our city and our state a better place to live and work.”
