Gunnar Bowles

A proud graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law, Gunnar gained extensive experience at one of the largest law firms in the U.S. where he represented a wide range of clients in the corporate, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors before joining Fortif in 2025. 

Gunnar regularly advises clients—including some of the state’s largest healthcare operators, utility providers, and nonprofit entities—on complex regulatory issues. Gunnar brings his deep understanding of complex regulatory matters to offer more focused, holistic, and client-centered legal services. He provides tailored, strategic advice that empowers clients to navigate the evolving corporate, healthcare regulatory, and non-profit landscapes with confidence. 

When Gunnar is not working, he can be found spending time with his wife and two children, serving at Redeemer Community church, or playing golf. Gunnar and his family have proudly called Birmingham, Alabama home since 2019.
